12 oz (340 g) medium shell pasta

1 lb (450 g) steak (sirloin or ribeye), cut into bite-size pieces

3 cloves garlic, minced

½ teaspoon smoked paprika (optional)

1 cup heavy cream

½ cup beef broth

½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions
Cook the Pasta
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the shell pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
Cook the Steak
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Season the steak pieces with salt and black pepper.
Add the steak to the skillet and cook for 2–3 minutes per side, until browned. Remove from the pan and set aside.
Make the Sauce
In the same skillet, melt the butter. Add the garlic and cook for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
Stir in the paprika and smoked paprika. Pour in the beef broth and heavy cream, stirring to combine. Simmer for 3–5 minutes until slightly thickened.
Combine Everything
Return the cooked steak to the skillet along with the drained pasta. Toss gently to coat everything in the sauce.
Add the Parmesan cheese and stir until melted and creamy.
Finish and Serve
Remove from heat and garnish with chopped parsley if desired. Serve immediately while hot.
