Instructions
Prepare the cake base:

Cut the cake into small cubes (about 1-inch pieces).

Layer half of the cake cubes into the bottom of a glass baking dish (9×9 or larger works best).

Add cherry filling:

Spoon half of the cherry pie filling evenly over the cake cubes.

Repeat with the remaining cake cubes and cherry filling, creating layers.

Make the vanilla pudding:
