Ingredients

  • 6 fresh biscuits (store-bought or homemade)
  • 12 slices deli ham
  • 6 slices Swiss cheese (or cheddar)
  • 2 tablespoons butter (melted)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon honey (optional)
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

Step 1: Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

Step 2: Prepare the Biscuits

Bake the biscuits according to package or recipe instructions until lightly golden. Let them cool slightly, then slice each biscuit in half.

Step 3: Assemble the Sliders

Place the bottom halves of the biscuits on a baking tray.
Add folded slices of ham, then place cheese on top.

Cover with the top halves of the biscuits.

Step 4: Prepare the Butter Glaze

In a small bowl, mix melted butter, garlic powder, black pepper, and optional mustard and honey.

Step 5: Brush the Sliders

Brush the tops of the biscuits lightly with the butter mixture.

Step 6: Bake Again

Place the sliders back in the oven and bake for 10–12 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the tops are golden.

Step 7: Rest and Serve

Remove from the oven and let them rest for 2–3 minutes.
Serve warm for the best melted cheese texture.

Tips for Best Results

  • Use soft biscuits for better texture
  • Do not overbake, or they may dry out
  • Fold the ham instead of laying it flat for more volume
  • Serve immediately for the best cheese melt

Variations

  • Use cheddar for a sharper flavor
  • Add scrambled eggs for a breakfast version
  • Try turkey instead of ham
  • Add a slice of tomato or spinach

What to Serve With

  • Fresh fruit
  • Potato wedges
  • Simple salad
  • Soup (for a full meal)

Storage and Reheating

Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days in the refrigerator.

Reheat in the oven or air fryer until warm and slightly crispy. Avoid microwaving for best texture.
