Ingredients
For the Choux Pastry:

1 cup (125 g) all-purpose flour

For the Cream Filling:

500 ml milk

4 egg yolks

100 g sugar

40 g cornstarch

1 tsp vanilla extract

200 ml heavy whipping cream
Instructions
Step 1: Make the Dough
In a saucepan, combine water, butter, and salt. Bring to a boil.
Add flour all at once and stir quickly until a smooth dough forms and pulls away from the sides.
Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each until smooth and glossy.
Step 2: Shape & Bake
Preheat oven to 200°C (390°F).
Pipe or spoon small mounds onto a baking tray lined with parchment paper.
Bake for 20–25 minutes until puffed and golden.
Do NOT open the oven while baking.
Step 3: Cool
Let the shells cool completely on a rack.
Step 4: Prepare the Cream
In a bowl, whisk egg yolks, sugar, and cornstarch.
Heat milk until warm, then slowly add to the mixture while stirring.
Return to heat and cook until thick.
Add vanilla and let cool.
Whip the cream separately, then fold into the custard.
Step 5: Fill the Cream Puffs
Cut or poke each puff and fill with the cream using a piping bag or spoon.
