Ingredients:

For the brownie base:
200g dark chocolate (at least 50% cocoa)

150g butter

250g sugar

3 eggs

1 tsp vanilla extract

100g all-purpose flour

30g cocoa powder

1/2 tsp salt

For the filling:
200g soft caramels (meltable)

2 tbsp milk or heavy cream

100g roasted salted peanuts

100g milk chocolate or chopped Snickers bars

Instructions:
Step 1: Melt chocolate and butter
In a small saucepan, melt the chocolate and butter over low heat. Stir occasionally until smooth and combined. Let it cool slightly.

Step 2: Prepare the brownie batter
In a large mixing bowl, beat the eggs with the sugar and vanilla until creamy. Add the melted chocolate mixture and stir to combine.

Sift in the flour, cocoa powder, and salt. Mix until the batter is fully incorporated.

Step 3: First bake
Pour the batter into a lined or greased baking pan. Bake at 170°C (340°F) for about 15 minutes. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly.

Step 4: Add the filling
While the base is cooling, melt the caramels with the milk or cream over low heat until smooth. Pour the caramel over the partially baked brownies.
